Dr. Peter Glavas
is a PROSTHODONTIST with extensive experience in dental implants, restorative and cosmetic dentistry; such as crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, bonding, implants, dentures, partials, extractions, tooth colored fillings, teeth whitening, and all other types of dentistry to create that winning smile you so desire.

1992: Bachelor of Arts NYU - College of Arts and Science.
1997: Doctorate of Dental Suregery, NYU with honors - College of Dentistry.
1997-1999: Two Years General Practice Residency, Staten Island University Hospital where he earned the title of CHIEF RESIDENT. Training included advanced dental techniques in implant placement and restoration.
1999-2002: Three Years Prosthodontic Residency, Manhattan VA Medical Center, a full scholarship program.
2002-Present: Assistant Professor, NYU College of Dentistry
2000-2009: Director Prosthodontics, Staten Island University Hospital
2010-Present: Program Director, General Practice Residency, Staten Island University Hospital (NSLIJ)
2011- Present: Clinical Attending Dept Dental Medicine, NORTHSHORE Hospital (NSLIJ)

A graduate of the local NORTHSHORE HOSPITAL DENTAL RESIDENCY program, she brings a youthful and vibrant personality with excellent training to provide the very best dental care for our patients. A well rounded dentist, she is capable of performing most procedures. Particularly, she loves treating children, cosmetic dentistry and root canal procedures.Dr Jamie is a great addition to our office.
